A '''nonrenewable resource''' is a material in [[The Blockheads]] that a [[blockhead]] cannot reproduce infinitely or cannot obtain at all. The opposite of a nonrenewable resource is a [[Renewable Resource|renewable resource]].

The following resources are not renewable (some can't even be obtained):
*[[Air]] (the default fill, cannot be obtained as an item)
*[[Magma]] (cannot be obtained as an item)

All other blocks and items are either obtainable through [[Meditate|meditation]], purchased at a [[Trade Portal|trade portal]], or can be created in infinite amount.

As an infinite number of worlds can be created, an infinite amount of reward clothing can be transported in through [[Portal Chest|portal chests]] from other worlds, as new worlds can be created for the sole purpose of supplying existing ones.

Prior to [[Game updates/20140402|version 1.5]], many other items were nonrenewable, such as [[stone]] and [[marble]]. The introduction of the trade portal allows an infinite amount of these items to be bought. [[Meditate|Meditation]] and the [[Trade Portal|trade portal]] has left the terms "renewable" and "nonrenewable" somewhat irrelevant.

As of [[Game updates/20180314|version 1.7]], special clothing items are now renewable as well as consumable.
